Quality
With Elevated Signals you can build custom digital forms for any part of the QA process, removing the need for paper-based processes. In the same system you can track and manage all of your inventory and environmental data.
Example digital forms include:
SOPs have associated forms and records that must be completed by employees when executing a particular manufacturing process. Some facilities complete these records on paper, meaning they are easily damaged (imagine them getting wet in a grow room!), lost, incomplete or have poor legibility. This can lead to a significant amount of additional work and inefficiency in a facility, and can make audits and inspections extremely stressful.
As a result, many QA teams leverage Elevated Signals to help them digitize their record-keeping and create batch records in seconds.
The purpose of inspections and audits is to verify that a manufacturer (or plant producer) is compliant with Health Canada's regulations (or international equivalent). On an ad-hoc basis (typically every six months), auditors will check that your facility is up to Good Production Practices (GPP) and security standards, and that the products you produce are complaint from composition and quality, packaging, labelling and promotions standpoint.
Put simply, a batch production record is the life history of a batch - it includes all the processes and steps that it went through in order to become the final product.
A good quality assurance program, requires batch records to be as detailed as possible as it will provide full traceability of a batch. There are two main ways you can manage your batch records - manually on paper and stored in binders, or using software.
Paper-based record-keeping means your QA teams are wasting time passing around documents, collecting records, associating them with the relevant batch, creating copies, and verifying their completeness and accuracy. Electronic batch record software allows you to automate the admin work, freeing time to focus on quality assurance and batch release.
Accurate inventory reporting, reduction in labour costs, top customer service, paperless GMP-batch records, increased productivity and access to real time data are just some of the reasons our customers love us.
